Appearance: Although she possesses the charm, Asami possess little to no quality of a real lady. She can be rather ill-tempered and she hates of all things to be ridiculed. However, Asami is always praised as a first-rate nurse. During surgical procedures, she is known for her speed and accuracy in obeying commands. She is highly efficient at what she does. Trained under Kimura Takuya through most of her career, she not only possess skills as a nurse, but perhaps more knowledge than most average doctors. She can technically perform simple surgery, however, the law forbids it so.
Character background: Mizukawa Asami was born in a rather complicated family. Her mother was the second wife to her father, who was a head professor in a University Hospital. He was a highly respected individual. There, she also met her half-brother, whom she barely knew and somewhat despied. However, there were parts of her that pitied him: their father was always molding her half-brother to take his place and he had to witness his own mother commit suicide with his own eyes. Asami was not particular attached with her family, and especially even more so when her mother passed away the year she graduated junior high. But under her family's influence and not wanting to be ridiculed by her half-brother and father, she studied on to be a nurse. That was when she met Kimura Takuya for the first time.
It was Asami's first time to work with Kimura, and at first she was not very fond of him due to her half-brother's rivalry with him. Her father's admiration for him as well disguised her. But time and time again she was put in practice with doctor, and time and time again, she could never deny his skills. Asami's respect grew for Kimura and they soon grew closer and closer as partners. She soon became Kimura's unofficial nurse, making her half-brother and Kimura's rivalry in a more dangerous position.
At the same time, Kimura received an invitation to New Skattun Hospital as Head doctor. Asami felt an obligation to follow him, as now she felt Taku (her pet name for Kimura) would be one of the only few doctors she would work for. Upon her leave to New Skattun, it left her half-brother bitter... but since her father did not object, she made preparations to join her partner soon after.
Arriving at New Skattun, she found herself in under the same department as Taku, of course... but without her father's arrangements, she was no longer his unofficial nurse.
